Ed Ames was performing (with the Ames Brothers) before I was born and he is the same age as my Dad, 89. What you merely hear can elicit  a very wrong image inside your brain. I am one of those people who has a vivid imagination and what I hear someone say or sing produces images that once again, today, I learned, can prove to be something entirely different than what a speaker or writer intended. This is the week of better understanding, the week the light bulb switches to on for many within this writing class.
