Red Sails in the Sunset

August 20, 2015 There was a World War something song we had to learn in the sixth grade. Red sails in the sunset. I couldn’t help but remember that song this last weekend while we spent an evening along the shores of the Salish Sea. The spectacular sunsets we’re experiencing here in the west are due to all the forest fires. My heart goes out to the families who’ve lost their loved ones as they bravely battled the blazes and I salute all those who fight the fires. Where would we be without your sacrifice? Here’s to you.
